Katsuhiro Harada, the game director for the latest iteration of Tekken has just announced via Twitter that Tekken 7 has just exceeded 2 million copies sold on all platforms.
2 million copies were sold on XboxOne and PS4 with an additional 300.000 copies sold on Steam. Tekken 6 sold 1.8 million copies 7 months after launch so we can safely say that 7 is doing way better.
Since it launched in June the game got a really warm welcome and excellent reviews even after the weird bowling DLC the game got in August.
Fans are looking forward to new DLCs and BandaiNamco seems to be keen to deliver new content as Fatal Fury character Geese Howard is scheduled to join Tekken 7’s roster in December.
